V. International Symposium of the
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the German Ophthalmological Society (DOG) we are most pleased to invite you to the V. International AMD-Symposium, from September 8-10, 2011, in beautiful Baden-Baden.
The superb scientific programme includes lectures from outstanding reknown international researchers at the forefront of their field. In addition free papers also from younger clinical and basic scientists expand the spectrum of presentations and and focused research topics.
The program covers all major aspects into AMD which have emerged from molecular and cell biological, morphological and biochemical studies on disease-relevant pathways in recent years. All these efforts resulted in a large expansion of the basic knowledge on AMD and in an identification of novel treatment targets, which are translated into new prophylactic and efficacious treatment paradigms.
